Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Holy Bible needs no account. Your saved verses, chats, streak and reading plan stay on your device and in your own iCloud. When you use the AI features, the text you write is sent to our server so an answer can be generated. We run no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
1. Who is responsible
Holy Bible: Faith Verse is published by LMT Digital Creations (SIRET 988 250 783 00012, France). For any privacy question, write to info@faithverse.app.
2. Data stored on your device
The following stays on your iPhone or iPad:
- The answers you gave during onboarding (what you are looking for, your experience, your preferred reminder time)
- Your conversations with the chat
- The verses and prayers you save
- Your reminder settings
Some of it is also kept in your personal iCloud account so it follows you to your other devices and survives a reinstall: your practice streak, your reading plan progress and the number of free chat messages used. We have no access to your iCloud.
3. Data sent to our server
Some features need a server. Our server is hosted by Hostinger.
- Chat, new prayers and new verses. The text of your message, or the topic you chose, is sent to our server, which asks OpenAI to write the answer. It is used to generate that answer. OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default and may be kept for up to 30 days to detect abuse.
- Narration of prayers written for you. When you press play on a prayer the app wrote for you, its text is sent to our server, which asks ElevenLabs to read it. The audio file is kept on our server so the same prayer does not have to be recorded twice. To prevent abuse we count requests per device and per day using a random identifier created when the app is installed. It is stored only as an irreversible hash and is not linked to your name, email or Apple account.
- Narration of the prayers in the library. These recordings are downloaded from our server.
Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested address) for security and troubleshooting.
4. Other services
- Apple. Apple processes in-app purchases, provides iCloud, delivers notifications and runs Siri, widgets and Spotlight on your device. See Apple's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat. RevenueCat checks your subscription with Apple. It receives an anonymous app identifier and the details of your purchase. If you installed the app after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, RevenueCat also receives Apple's attribution token, which tells us which campaign led to the install without identifying you. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- OpenAI and ElevenLabs, as described above. See their privacy policies.
5. What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifier (IDFA)
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No sale or sharing of your data with data brokers
- No location, camera, contacts or photos
- No account, email address or password
6. Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device by iOS. No notification data leaves your phone. You can turn it off in the app's Settings or in your iPhone's Settings.
7. This website
faithverse.app uses no cookies and no analytics. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open a page.
8. Children
Holy Bible is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. How long data is kept
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data in iCloud stays until you delete it from your iCloud settings. On our server, narration files of generated prayers are kept to avoid recording them again, daily request counts are kept for the current period, and technical logs follow our host's standard retention.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, the CCPA and other privacy laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing or receive a copy. Most of your data is already in your hands: uninstalling the app deletes what is on your device, and you can remove the iCloud copy in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage. For anything else, write to info@faithverse.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
11. Changes
We will update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
